Ingredients

Scale

Salmon

  • 1 piece of salmon (23 pounds)
  • 3/4 cup whipped cream cheese
  • 5 tablespoons Everything but the Bagel seasoning (or more, to taste)

Vegetables

  • 1 pound fresh French green beans
  • 1 pound baby potatoes, washed and cut

Other

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Sea salt, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to ensure it reaches the right temperature for roasting the salmon and vegetables evenly.
  2. Prepare the Sheet Pan: Line a large sheet pan with parchment paper to prevent sticking and make cleanup easier.
  3. Position the Salmon: Place the 2-3 pound salmon fillet in the center of the lined sheet pan, ensuring it lays flat for even cooking.
  4. Dry the Salmon Surface: Dab the top of the salmon with a paper towel to remove excess moisture, which helps the cream cheese adhere better.
  5. Spread Cream Cheese: Evenly spread 3/4 cup whipped cream cheese over the top of the salmon, covering the entire surface.
  6. Add Seasoning: Generously sprinkle about 5 tablespoons of Everything but the Bagel seasoning over the cream cheese layer to add a flavorful crust.
  7. Arrange Vegetables: Distribute the baby potatoes and fresh French green beans around the salmon on the sheet pan, creating an even layer.
  8. Season Vegetables: Drizzle the potatoes and green beans with 2 tablespoons of olive oil and sprinkle with sea salt to taste, tossing lightly if needed to coat.
  9. Roast: Place the sheet pan in the oven and cook for approximately 20 minutes. Check the doneness of the salmon and vegetables; if the salmon finishes before the vegetables, cover the salmon with foil or remove it from the oven to avoid overcooking.
  10. Serve: Remove the sheet pan from the oven once everything is cooked through and serve immediately while hot.

Notes

  • You can adjust the amount of Everything but the Bagel seasoning based on your spice preference.
  • Ensure the salmon skin is removed or ask your fishmonger to do so if desired.
  • If the vegetables are not tender after 20 minutes, continue roasting for an additional 5-10 minutes until cooked through.
  • Leftovers can be refrigerated for up to 2 days and reheated gently.
  • This recipe can be made gluten-free by confirming the seasoning does not contain gluten ingredients.
