Ingredients

Scale

Crust

  • 25 Oreos
  • 4 tbsp butter, melted

Filling

  • 3 cups heavy cream
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp instant espresso powder
  • 14 oz sweetened condensed milk

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Oreo crust: Pulse the Oreos in a food processor until they become fine crumbs. Add the melted butter and pulse again until the mixture resembles damp sand and is evenly combined.
  2. Form the crust: Place two-thirds of the Oreo crumb mixture into the bottom and sides of a 9-inch deep dish pie pan. Using your fingers or a tamper, press the crumbs firmly into the sides. Then add the remaining crumbs and press firmly into the bottom of the pan to create an even crust.
  3. Whip the cream mixture: Using a stand mixer fitted with a whisk attachment or hand beaters, whip the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and instant espresso powder on high speed until stiff peaks form, about 6-7 minutes.
  4. Incorporate the condensed milk: Pour in the sweetened condensed milk and whip on low speed for 30 seconds. Scrape down the sides of the bowl with a spatula, then whip on low speed for another 30 seconds until well combined.
  5. Assemble and freeze: Pour the coffee whipped cream filling into the prepared Oreo crust, smoothing out the top or adding a design if desired. Freeze the pie uncovered for at least 6 hours until fully firm. Once thoroughly frozen, cover the pie with plastic wrap and keep frozen until ready to serve.
  6. Serve the pie: Remove the pie from the freezer and thaw for about 10 minutes to soften slightly for easier slicing. Enjoy your creamy coffee pie!

Notes

  • This is a no-bake pie that requires freezing to set properly.
  • Use a deep dish pie pan to ensure enough space for the thick filling.
  • You can decorate the top with chocolate shavings, a dusting of cocoa powder, or coffee beans for presentation.
  • Instant espresso powder provides a strong coffee flavor, but you can adjust amount based on taste preference.
  • For best results, ensure the heavy cream is very cold before whipping.
