Instructions

  1. Make the Blackberry Jam: In a saucepan, combine the blackberries, honey, ground cinnamon, and flour. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes until thick and jam-like. If the jam is too thick, stir in 1 tablespoon of water. Remove from heat and let it cool to room temperature.
  2. Prepare the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a large rimmed baking pan with parchment paper to prevent sticking and ensure even baking.
  3. Mix Goat Cheese and Jam: In a large bowl, combine 1 cup of the prepared blackberry jam with the softened goat cheese. Mix well until you achieve a smooth, uniform mixture that’s spreadable.
  4. Assemble the Pastry: Roll out the thawed puff pastry on a clean surface. Spread the goat cheese and jam mixture evenly over the pastry. Fold the pastry in half lengthwise, pressing lightly to seal.
